Dear Sisters,

This year's Ladies Retreat in the Smokies was a huge success! God met with us in every service and many women have testified to what God did for them there. Sis. Ruth Brimm and Sis. Bessie Galiher were the featured speakers and each of them did an outstanding job. The altars were full of ladies who sought God, and God met them there.

Many gifts were brought from various churches and given out, plus $1000 was given in hundred dollar increments throughout the meeting. Our ladies always like shopping money! Then Susan Tidwell won the Netbook computer that we had, and Sis. Ramona Williams won the MP3 player for the Conference Call contest.

When we had our lunch, we ate steak and gravy and turkey and dressing. For dessert, we had a wonderful apple dumpling! Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Everyone's still talking about the Fashion Show that Sis. Janice Young and Sis. Jean Carol Ruis put on. Those styles were something to see!

Well, if you didn't get to make it this year, maybe next year! It was wonderful.
